2. Website access and hosting
These notices describe processing on our website at utilycon.com. When you visit, technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested URL, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser, operating system and status code may be processed. This serves the secure and reliable provision of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting: Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Webflow provides the website and its files through its infrastructure and subprocessors. Processing in the United States and other third countries is possible; hosting is not limited to servers in Germany.
Processing on our behalf is governed by Webflow's Data Processing Addendum. For international transfers, it provides for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where certification applies and, in addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Information about service providers is available in Webflow's subprocessor list.
Technical data is retained only as long as needed to provide, troubleshoot and secure the service, subject to statutory retention obligations.
3. Contacting us
When you contact us, we process the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling your enquiry.
The contact page opens Outlook. No form data is collected or transmitted by this preview.
Contact enquiries are deleted once processing is complete, unless statutory retention obligations or reasons for safeguarding legal claims require further retention.
4. Applications
When you apply by email, we process your contact details, application documents and information generated during the selection process to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. Processing is carried out to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); Section 26(1), sentence 1 of the German Federal Data Protection Act also applies to the decision on establishing employment. Access is limited to people involved in the selection process.
If no employment relationship is established, we delete application data six months after rejection or completion of the application process. Temporary retention serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Longer retention may be necessary in the event of specific legal disputes or statutory retention obligations. Inclusion in an applicant pool takes place only with your separate consent. If you are hired, the data required for the employment relationship will continue to be processed.
5. Cookies, local storage and external services
Privacy notice and storage of your selection
Our website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. In the privacy notice, you decide whether it remains hidden for the current visit or for 180 days (approximately six months).
With “For this visit only”, your selection is stored in the session storage of the current browser tab and is normally removed when the tab is closed. With “Remember for 6 months”, it is stored in your browser's local storage. After 180 days, the entry is removed on your next visit and the notice is shown again. Only the selection, notice version and, for persistent storage, the expiry date are stored under the key “utilycon.privacy.v1”. No individual user identifier is assigned and the information is not transmitted to us.
Storage takes place at your express request to provide the selected display setting (Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). You can change your choice at any time via “Privacy settings” in the footer or delete it with “Reset storage”. Use × to close the notice for the current page without storing a choice.
Fonts, images and videos
The Inter and Space Grotesk fonts, images and videos are delivered with the website. Google Fonts is not requested and no external video player is embedded.

LinkedIn is linked only. The respective provider's website is accessed only when you open the link.
6. Retention period
We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the relevant purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply. Specific periods are stated in the relevant sections.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; processing carried out before withdrawal remains lawful.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly at your place of residence or work or at the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
8. Your right to object
Where processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
We will cease processing unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
